By redirecting concern toward secondary issues, decision-makers avoid confronting unresolved safety, ethical, and consent-based questions that Canadians deserve clear answers to. We believe cloned meat will return as a major policy issue this year. The groundwork is already being laid, and once these decisions are embedded into regulation and the food supply, they become extremely difficult to reverse. That makes early public awareness and action critical.
